BLA claims responsibility for several deadly attacks in Balochistan


On the anniversary of Balach Marri's assassination the Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for several attacks. The Pakistani military is widely implicated it the assassination, though the circumstances of Balach Marri's death have never been fully investigated or made public. Despite claiming responsibility for the attacks listed below, BLA spokesman, Beebarg Baloch stated that the ceasefire is to continue and that should they decide to end it, a formal announcement would be made.

Attacks include:

Claimed responsibility for killing a policeman on Samungli road.

Claimed responsibility for gunning down two and injuring two in Khuzdar and Quetta for spying- Talking to the press via satelite phone, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesman Beebarg Baloch accepted responsibility for the murder of the two government officials and injuries to two others in Quetta and Khuzdar, saying the victims were ‘spying' against Baloch interests.

Claimed responsibilty for attacking a house in Quetta Killi Shahnawaz with a handgrenade causing damage.

Claimed responsibility for attacking the home of a railway officer with a handgrenade in Mach.

Claimed responsibilty for attacking the house of a government official with a handgrenade in Quetta 's sariab area.

Claimed the responsibility of the railway station bomb blast in Quetta and a grenade attack on the house of a security official in the industrial town of Hub . The grenade exploded in the courtyard of the house damaging the doors and windows of the house.

Also claimed to have fired five rockets at the Police Training College in Sariab area from nearby mountains late on Wednesday night.
