Islamabad: Protest in front of Islamabad Press Club

Islamabad. The Baloch Students Organization (BSO), along with local citizens and political activists, held a protest demonstration in front of National Press Club, Islamabad, here on Wednesday to condemn the cold-blooded target killings of Habib Jalib Baloch, a Baloch nationalist and central general secretary of the Balochistan National Party (Mengal), and Maula baksh Dasti.

The protesters chanted slogans condemning the continuing assassinations of Baloch Political workers and expressed their anger about the state's inability to provide security to its citizens and even to prominent leaders who have consistently fallen prey to targeted killings over the last year in Balochistan.

Addressing the gathering, BSO leader Sami Baloch and Walib Baloch said that despite the repeated promises made to the Baloch people by the current federal government, the assassination, torture and abduction of baloch political workers, students and ordinary citizens has continued unabated.

The Balochistan Students Organization (BSO) also demanded that the United Nations and other International human rights Organizations take notice of such killings.
