on 15 July 2007 in 10 Downing street London, in front of PM
house. The protest was organised by WSC (World Sindhi Congress),

and BRM (Balochistan Rights Movement). A number Baloch, Sindhi
and other human rights activist from all over UK have participated
in demonstration to record their protest against Pakistani
atrocities in Sindh and Balochistan.

in Balochistan, forced disappearances, unlawful detention,
and torture of Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Saleem Baloch, Sardar

Several Sindhi and Baloch leaders and activists also spoke
at the occasion, the speakers included Dr Lakhu Luhana, Samad
Baloch, Haleem Bhatti, Ghulam Hussain Baloch, Hidayat Bhutto,
Qadir Bashk Jatio, Mehr Negaar Baloch, Hafeeza and others.
Speakers have shown grave concerned about the lives of thousands
of missing persons from Sindh and Balochistan. They said no
law allows a state to kidnap people and keep them in secret
dungeon for years without presenting in any court of law.
They strongly condemn the illegal detention and torture of
Baloch and Sindhi political prisoners by the hand of Pakistan's
Punjabi army.
The speakers also condemn the Pakistani army for not letting
the International rights groups to help the flood victims
in Sindh and Balochistan. They said Pakistan is neither helping
the cyclone victims nor letting the international community
to help them, this is a clear indication that Pakistan wants
the Baloch and Sindhi people suffer and die, pakistan is only
interested in Baloch and Sindhi land and resources but have
no pain for the people of Sindh and Balochistan.
They called upon Prime Minister Brown and the international
community to help the people of Balochistan and Sindh who
have been hit by a devastating cyclone. The Pakistani government
has washed its hands of any humanitarian and civilised gestures.
It is up to the civilised world to help these victims in the
hour of need.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Ghulam Hussain Baloch said, "Pakistan
as a rogue and fundamentalist nation has constrained the voices
of innocent Baloch and Sindhi civilians through the mass military
operations, which have resulted in many thousand deaths and
cases of disappearances and kidnappings, which have been orchestrated
by the Pakistani Intelligent agency (ISI). These atrocities
have accumulated in ethical genocide of an unparalleled historical
context."
He went on and further said, "With the recent changes
in the position of British politics, in particular the introduction
of a new leader for Britain, a new beginning has been heralded.
However, I ask you Prime Minister Brown is this new beginning
a matter of substance or just a political manifestation. The
Baloch and Sindhi people have continuously demonstrated and
tried to create awareness amongst the west of the detrimental
and manipulative nature of Pakistan's political hierarchy,
unfortunately these attempts have seemed to not have any impact.
The attempts made by Baloch human right activists to unveil
Pakistan's hidden agendas to the international political arena
has resulted in them being prime targets for the Pakistani
government and has even resulted in pleas of extradition from
the Pakistani government of these human right activists. Pakistan
is the only country where free speech and equality are of
a scarce if not non-existence.
The civilised world that we live in today is based on democracy
and free speech of one's right, so let me ask you a question
today prime Minister Brown! Why Campaigning against the killings
of innocent children, women and the elderly should be considered
as a crime or is it an individual right for the creation of
stability and peace? Are the forced disappearances, unlawful
arrests, detention and torture of thousands of Baloch and
Sindhi political and human right activists justified? He questioned."
